  • In December 2014, Chris Jones purchased The Glassman 2005 business entity (also known as Carl Gratton Glass Ltd), re-branding it The Glassman 2014 Ltd.

  • Chris has over 28 years experience in the glass and glazing industry. 15 of those years he spent catering to the needs of the automotive glass repair and replacement sector.

    In his years at the Blenheim branch of Smith and Smith Glass® - New Zealand's largest and most influential Automotive Glass repairer, Chris' knowledge, expertise and leadership skills propelled him up the ranks.

    In 2010, Chris was entrusted with the responsibility to set up, recruit and lead the Smith and Smith® Marlborough corporate operation. In time, he emerged as one of Smith and Smith's leading, most respected and most enterprising of their established Branch managers.

    By focusing on developing his people and branch structure, the Blenheim Branch was always at the top most echelon of this corporate organisation.

    This experience enabled Chris to gain national and international notoriety within Smith and Smith Glass® and the wider international Belron® group.

    As a corporate manager, Chris has added a multitude of invaluable skills to his repertoire that are intimately aligned with running a successful but lean profitably sustainable organisation geared towards the customer as being the center of everything we do at The Glassman.
